I'm excited to host hackathons this semester at Building 21 for open-access research. There are two motivating factors for this project: (1) striving to rediscover the "subculture" roots of hackathons and ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone, and (2) getting people together to find solutions to solve topics in research (for instance, how fast can you run object inference on a Raspberry Pi (compute-limited resource).
