Background
I have created musical pieces using solely samples from numerical simulations that I work on in my research as a Master's student. I work with biological oscillators (biological systems that go metaphorically round and round i.e. they oscillate). One of these oscillators plays a role in the very early developmental stage of vertebrate embryos. Using a phase oscillator model with memory, I managed to generate audio clips that I then (with a lot of artistic liberty) stitched together to create musical pieces.
