Background

What is wisdom? From where or whom have you received wisdom previously? In which contexts do you feel more wise, and in which situations do you crave wisdom and wish for wise guidance? Wisdom is not only evermore needed in our society with exponential progress in technology and intelligence coming with an array of moral dilemmas, but wisdom is also shown to increase overall well being, quality and even length of life. In this project I examine what wisdom looks like and consists of, and how it can be applied in various contexts, particularly when making difficult decisions. Further, is there a way to use technological interventions alongside long term changes in institutional systems like universities to enhance and teach for wisdom, preparing us for unforeseen and imminent developments in the future and under an ultimate pursuit of eudaimonia.
